 Being a front line worker or family caregiver is stressful enough, adding in the pandemic makes an already difficult job that much more stressful. With that in mind we have gathered online resources to assist our attendants.

Mental Health:

  1. Avoid too much news and social media. It’s important to keep up with what is going on, however limit your exposure as things change rapidly and can cause confusion.

  2. Unplug, set the phone down, close the lid on the laptop, turn off the TV and just breathe.

  3. Read. Amazon has free classic and some more modern books for Prime members. Barnes and Noble have a similar program for the Nook application. The library also has an e-book option for those with a library card. Check their website for more information as different counties handle it in their own way.   4. Learn something new. All of us have a topic that fascinates us but we’ve never taken the time to learn more about it, no better time than now. Some examples of premium services are Curiosity Stream | Skillshare | EdX |

  5. Stay in touch. Keep in contact with friends and family. Call them on the phone, don’t just text or browse their Facebook profile.

Physical Health:

  1. Make sure to keep a routine, we’re all creatures of habit and keeping a routine will help reduce stress levels.

  2. Go for a walk, spend some time outside. Fresh air and sunshine will do you good.

  4. Organize your space. Get rid of old items that you don’t use or need.
