ILCSEMO’S In Home Services department is a vendor for a personal care attendant service program. The purpose of the In Home program is to help people with physical disabilities to remain independent in their home or to develop a plan for those already institutionalized to be allowed to return home. This purpose statement is based on ILCSEMO’S independent living philosophy of striving for the independence of people with disabilities.
This service is for people who are unable to direct their staff but would like personal care in their home to maintain independence as long as possible. Staff is hired and directed by ILCSEMO according to the consumer’s plan of care.
